The telescoping pool & Spa fountains are designed so that when not in use the retract flush with the bottom of the pool and do not interfere with automatic pool cleaning equipment.
The fountain is designed for use only when the pool or spa is Unoccupied.
They are typically installed with a gate or Jandi valve in-line with the fountain to control the water flow.
When ordering a fountain specify as closely as possible the exact water height/level. Fountains are manufactured in 1” increments. If you are really in doubt about the water height/level you can order the fountain about 4” taller that needed and ask for a stop ring. When your water height is established you will have to glue the stop ring at the appropriate height with PVC glue. You must take care that the ring is glued absolutely level and no beads of glue seep out the sides of the ring. If done improperly, the fountain will not stand straight of rotate properly. If you elect to glue the sop ring on, we are relieved of any warranty issues should the fountain not work properly.
